With the Presets feature, you can create different iterations of the profit dashboard and access them with the push of a button. A preset is a filtered view, with your choice of products, stores, ad accounts/campaigns/ad sets, and date range.
This feature is especially useful for the following use cases
- You have connected multiple stores to your OrderMetrics account and you wish to see profit metrics separately for each store
- You have different collections or categories of products and you wish to see profit metrics separately for each collection/category
Using the Presets feature to separate multiple stores and their corresponding ad accounts
By default, OrderMetrics does not know which ad account goes with what store. However you can create “pairs” of ad accounts and their corresponding storefronts using the Presets feature.
You would start with selecting the Date Range you wish to use for this Preset. For example, if you select “This Month”, the Preset will dynamically adjust the dates to month to date every time you load it.
Next, select the desired store from the “Channels” filter.
Next, select the ad accounts and campaigns that correspond to the store you’ve selected. You can do this by clicking on the “Fitler Ad Spend” option. This is an important step as it will make sure your net profit stays accurate when you select Presets for each store.
Once you're happy with what you see, you can click on Manage Presets and save this view.
Make sure you give it a short but descriptive name!
That’s it. Now you can select this Preset from the Presets dropdown every time you wish to view metrics for this particular store.
Using the Presets feature to view metrics for groups of products (Collections/Categories)
If you wish to view your metrics for a specific group of products, you can follow the same steps as shown above with the addition of selecting your desired products from the Products filter.
