OrderMetrics receives tax information directly from your sales channel, which means tax must be configured in the sales channel for us to account for it. We receive the tax amount at the order level.
The tax figure is included in your revenue number and it’s subtracted when calculating gross profit. You can see the total tax amount for a given period on the main dashboard.
Can I change tax settings inside OrderMetrics?
Right now we don’t offer tools to change tax settings within OrderMetrics. The tax information will be taken directly from the sales channel.
If you haven’t configured tax separately in your sales channel, i.e it is included in the sale price, then you can add the tax manually in OrderMetrics as a custom spend. Learn more about custom spends here
